THE BUILDING OF THE RECTORY IN THE CONSCRIPTION

In the vicinity of St. Michael's Church and opposite Kolštejn Castle, one of the landmarks of the Jeseníky foothill village is worth noticing - the Fojtsví building, built as the seat of the owner of the estate. Its unmissable square tower, built in the 17th century, is another dominant feature of the village and part of the beautiful panorama of the picturesque Branná. Today, the building can only be admired from the outside, as repairs are underway and the building is not yet open to the public. However, visitors to Branná can look forward to the future when the repairs are completed and the Museum of Life at the fojtství will be set up here. The ground-floor building of the Fojtství was built in the 16th century, a hundred years later the building was added one floor. Another bell floor was added in the 19th century. The valuable Renaissance building of the Rectory with its adjacent garden, in the middle of the historic buildings of the town, will certainly be another popular tourist destination as a museum. The small garden around the building is enclosed by stone walls with metal wooden fencing.
